Motorola Moto X Play stopped detecting SD card

[AC Question]

I bought my Moto X Play in the month of September 2016 and the SD card 16 GB Stronium class 10 was working fine until the 15th of Jan 2017. It was setup as an internal storage and now it is not detecting my files in the card. I have lost all files this way. I can't put the card in other devices since it was set up as an internal storage. This is my first phone from Motorola and I now hate the company Motorola so much because of this. This problem seems to be very common in your Motorola phones. You shouldn't have given the external SD card facility if this was going to be the problem.
Can anyone in the company rectify this problem?!?!
