I only use gmail on my HTC, don't forward from other accounts into gmail. Since my update to Nougat two weeks ago, I do not receive notifications that I have mail. I have to go into gmail and tap the screen, then if there's mail, it may decide to show up. Anyone having similar issues?
2. I asked in another thread but no answer: when phone is in sleep mode and I go to wake it with the power button or home button, it makes a notification sound. This never happened before and I find no settings that are ticked which shouldn't be. (such as make notification on waking, blah blah) it's quite annoying, especially if in a quiet place where I'm trying to be discreet.
