I want to keep more than one copy of text. My old Android kept several that I use frequently.

    Welcome to Android Central.

Samsung's generally hold 20 'clips' including images in temporary RAM storage.

Do you mean you want to save more than one text clip? It sounds like you meant you want to save multiple copies of the same text. While this may be illogical it's possible on a Samsung (or any Android device which only saves one clip) to paste it multiple times... you just have to be very careful not to overwrite it with another clip, or turn off the device - when you will lose every thing in RAM.

Simple solution : use a good clipboard app, like Clipper, which saves 20 clips in internal storage. The oldest will be overwritten first.
