How can I disable Smart UI?

I have an S6 active. I have the power saving option selected to try and save some battery life through out the day. When I do that a small gray bar appears at top of screen. When I swipe down for notifications there is a notification that says to turn off the power saving option because it limits some app functionality. Also when I wake the phone up it has a message bar at center of screen from System Ui. I want to see a message alert not some stupid system UI thing.

My question is: Can I stop this notification? It just bugs the crap out of me. I hate the gray bar but I want to save battery life. What can I do?

If you are referring to the ultra power saving mode than no, it's just part of the system as far as I can remember.

Alpha, thanks for the reply. I have the ultra turned off. I just have the power saving on.
