    Dear user

I have tested your issue on my SG6 and wasn't able to replicate the issue. So it could be a carrier restriction if any. Are you using the standard messaging that came with your phone or a third party solution lie Allo or Hangouts?

An SMS message is limited to 140 bytes of data, or there about.
If your texting app is using Unicode characters, they are 2-bytes each, thus limiting you to 70 chars per message.

Depending on the SMS app you are using, many apps will take a long message and break it into pieces for sending. Other apps will convert long messages into MMS messages. Other apps will give you the choice of what to do in the app settings.

What SMS app are you using?
