Occasionally, I get redirected to spam sites that look like fake Facebook pages.

Yesterday, I was browsing an article about 10 apps you should not download (due to privacy reasons, adware, and such). However, I suddenly got redirected to another one of those nasty sites! This time, I saw the name of the website was "comumx". How annoying!

I find that adding such pop-ups as named sites to be blocked by my Sky Broadband Shield is effective, and I have no further trouble. Of course that's only good when using wifi, but perhaps something similar may be the answer in your case.

Update: I was browsing an Angelfire site, and it suddenly downloaded a particular song into the phone. Then, it opened two spam sites! I took a screenshot of them and immediately closed the tabs and cleared history, cookies, and cached images. Then I deleted the song. However, I don't know what damage the site has caused. Now I've made my mind up never to visit Angelfire sites again.
