Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 email app

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5. I use the Samsung email app that came with the tablet to download my emails from my gmail account. I recently changed internet providers from Brighthouse to AT&T U-Verse and the Samsung app will not download from my gmail account. If I go across the street to my neighbors house and log into his wi-fi the Samsung app works perfectly with my gmail account. I also have an Asus laptop running Windows 10 and Outlook 2010. The laptop has no issues downloading from gmail over the AT&T network. The tablet also has the gmail app installed and it works fine but I prefer to use the Samsung app which is more like outlook. The tablet will download from my gmail account anywhere else except on the AT&T router. We have tried 2 AT&T routers with the same results, we are on U-Verse and the 2 routers we tried are the 5268AC and the NVG599
