Ok i use to have a dBm of about -101 and an asu of 1. I recently downloaded a booster app and my dBm is now -117 ish but my asu is about 20 ish consistently. It does download better ,but, I've read that a dBm of over -115 is a dead signal. Why is this happening? or why is it now better with a worse dBm but higher asu?

please note, i know what these abbreviations are but im confused because a said dBm of -115 is a dead zone but my device downloads faster now with a worse dBm.

can someone help me to understand?

Maybe the app is reading the signal incorrectly. If your goal was for improved signal, and you are now receiving that, then I wouldn't worry much unless there's a problem.
