Can't get exchange account on pixel

hi,

I have tried gmail, mailwise, mymail, outlook and a few other apps to get to my ms exchange email, all have failed. I have never had this problem before on my galaxy s6 or any iPhones in the past.

One app BlueMail allows me to login and send and receive email, but doesn't let me sync my contacts. It says contacts are only available if you are using active sync, but I can't seem to get that to work even when I reinstall.

So I have this great new pixel and no contacts....

Any ideas out there?
