i accidentally uninstalled google app on my phone. when it finished uninstalling, the play store stopped and a pop up showed could not start home. i panicked and switched off the phone. it does not switch on now. i have some very important contacts and documents which i cannot lose. i own a moto g2. please help

Welcome to the forums. Is your phone rooted? I think root is necessary to remove the Google app from that phone.

Welcome to the forums. @Javier P. is right; in order to remove core Google apps, like Play Services, Store and the general Google app, requires root access and an app that can remove other apps, like Titanium Backup.

Are your contacts saved on the phone or in your Gmail account?
If your device is not rooted, then perhaps you his the app?
