Last week my Huawei Mediapad M3 ( BTV-W09) had a notification to upgrade via a download it provided from it's stock EMUI 4.1 and Android 6 to EMUI 5 and Android Nougat 7, which I did download and install. After doing so it says it is still EMUI 4.1, Build Number BTV-W09C128B003, Android 6, with Android Dec 2016 security patch? No noticeable difference at all other than security level.
Did it just update the security level? I thought I read that this upgrade was going to be available for this model in around May of this year 2017?
