S6 touchscreen Problem

[AC Question]

I've had my S6 for about 2 years now, no problems at all. I am from Hawaii. At the beginning of January, I dropped it but it was only a cracked screen that I suffered from. Fast forward 2 weeks and all of a sudden the phone touchscreen becomes unbearable. I have to use hard, slow swipes and taps in order to navigate or type. My battery also for some reason lasts maybe a quarter of what it used to. All of this came on so suddenly, so I have no idea what the cause could be. Googled and found few repairing places such as TCAWireless. Not sure what to do. Does anyone here have any suggestions? Please help

Welcome to Android Central! Perhaps moisture has crept into the phone and is causing the issues with the touchscreen. You'd have to bring it to a repair shop to see if replacing the screen helps. The battery might also be failing, and might have to be replaced as well.
