Is it possible to uninstall a software update on a samsung phone?

I have a Samsung galaxy A300Y (Android version 6.0.1) and I installed the newest software update. I really hate how the new apps look and it's made my phone rather laggy since then. I was wondering if it's possible to uninstall the new Marshmallow update from my phone?

It's possible you might be able to reflash your phone back to LP using Odin and the correct firmware for your phone. I've done it on my Verizon Note 4 and reverted from MM to LP 5.1.1. What will be the deciding factor is if your current firmware will allow the reflash. The best place to start is by visiting XDA forums to see if anyone has done it. Firmware can be gotten from Sammobile, or Youmobile and must be the "exact" firmware for your device. Visit XDA.
