There is a person icon next to the wi-fi signal on the left. What does this mean?

My cell started acting crazy and the only thing different was an icon of a person next to the wi-fi signal. What is this icon? As soon as it disappeared, my phone starting acting normal again.
Please explain...

Welcome to the forums. What phone do you have? It sounds like TalkBack or any other accessibility feature were temporarily enabled. Could you give us more details about what happened when you saw that icon? What kind of 'crazy' behaviour do you mean?
