I have a Samsung Galaxy Core Prime phone and when I try to send video it keeps saying that the file is to large, especially if it is more than 5 seconds. How do I correct this?

There is simply a limit to the file size that can be emailed. It may be worth compressing it first, for which there are apps in the Play Store, though there will be a loss of quality.

All messaging services have a file size limit on them; different messaging types have different limits.
SMS/MMS messages are often capped at 1 meg or smaller.
Emails are often capped at 25 meg.

The best way to send large files is to put the file on a sharing service like Drobox.com or GoogleDrive, then put the URL of the file in the message.

Welcome to Android Central! You can also upload your video to your Google Photos or YouTube account, and share it privately from there.
