installed app does not appear on apps page

I downloaded and installed BS Player for android onto my phone, samsung J3 using Lollipop 5.1 Its icon does not appear on the apps page. Where did it go? When I tried to install it again, an error message said: already installed

Are you looking at only the home screens or did you go into the full list of apps? You can also go into the phone settings, go to the application manager and see if/that the app is installed.
