What is com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox:interactor?

Every time I open my camera app it displays a message that says "Camera is currently recording audio. com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox:interactor will not be able to record right now." after it displays that message, you only have the option to press ok then it stops all recording. please help. my email is **email removed by moderator**

Open system settings - applications and clear camera cache. Let us knowing that helps.

I followed another solution and it worked for me. Go into "voice control" and turn off "quick calling".

This is super annoying. This error message pops up in every app which needs video: camera, Hangouts, Skype.
I have the P9. I have tried the 3 fixes suggested in various posts:
A) turn off quick-calling
B) clear camera cache
C) turn off "OK Google"

None of them worked. Actually, it is not clear if the "OK Google" fix works or not because it turns itself back on again.

@ HUAWEI: are you monitoring this? This needs a fix right away. Hangout and Skype are business tools for my team. Several of us have the P9 and we will have to ditch them if this is not fixed this week.

Follow the following steps.

Setttings -> Apps -> Advanced -> App Permissions -> Miscrophone -> Disable Google Apps

This method worked for me. Hope this solves

Thanks nv14, got the same issue on my P9 and solved with disabling mic for google apps.

I have the same problem on my Honor 8 and none of these solutions resolved the issue. I can take pictures but can't record video. Super Frustrating!!!
