    i have a one plus 3, android 7.0, and am constantly muting phone calls with my cheek. is there a way to remove the mute button or move it? didnt have this problem on my last phone. i try to keep my face away from the screen but sometimes forget

    I wonder if the proximity sensor is faulty. Dial *#0*# and you should get the service screen. You can check the sensor there...

    Welcome to Android Central! I agree with Tim1954. The phone's screen should turn off automatically on a call when you hold it up against your ear, in order to prevent this exact problem.
