All of my contacts are stored via my Samsung Account, however, when I imported them to my new phone (old note 5 had water damage) all my contacts duplicated. I linked them, but I just want to get rid of all the device contacts and only have the Samsung Account contacts so that my default for saving contact info/updates can go back to being the Samsung Account. I don't want to lose the settings and extra info (ringtones, birthdays, addresses, etc) that is saved in the Samsung Account contacts. Is there a way to do this without going into each contact, unlinking them & deleting the device stored contacts?

In your contacts app you should be able to select which account to show contacts from. Change to the one you want to clear and delete them all.

I HIGHLY suggest making a backup in case it ends up deleting the linked contact as well.
