On a desktop Google Earth it is possible to create and display navigation routes.
On an Android smartphone, Google Earth displays the local satellite image centered on the device actual GPS location.

It would be nice to combine the two features and use Google Earth on Android for navigation. But for that one has to upload a route that, apparently cannot be created on the device itself. The Android app does have layers capability.

Does anyone know if its possible and how? Thank you.
(The same question is asked in Google Earth forums.)
