    Hi!

I took my broken cell phone (Samsung Galaxy Ace 2) to the repair where they offered to do a "Samsung backup" of it. This in effect meant that I got a directory which I had them copy to the external SD card in my new phone (Samsung J3) so now it resides at /storage/extSdCard/SM-G357FZ_20170220105319/ and contains files such as backupHistoryInfo.xml, Calllog.ebk, Contacts.spb, etc.

Apparently I should be able to do a restore with this data with Smart Switch (formerly Kies?), but when I start Smart Switch, select "transfer via external storage" (it doesn't let me select a location on there) it says "no backup data", and only the "backup" button is active.

I tried removing everything else from the external SD card, and putting all files and subdirectories of this backup folder into its root folder, with the same result. ("no backup data")

How can I access this backup folder to restore my files, data, etc.?
