Touch screen to take pictures

don't know what happened but I can't take any more pictures just touching the screen (tapping) like before. The only way to take the picture now is using the formal icon on the bottom of the screen. Can anybody please help me to fix this issue? how I can restore my normal confirguration to take pictures just tapping the screen anywhere? Thx Crazy Carla

Also, which camera app?

Check the mode the camera app is running in. If you have the option to manually select the focus point by tapping on the screen, tapping probably will no longer take the picture.
