Am I being blocked

[AC Question]

I am trying to call a friend. His phone rings five or six times and then his voice states he is unable to take the call . The next thing that I hear is an automated voice stated the mail box is full and I can't record a message to him. Is he blocking me on his android?

Welcome to Android Central! Maybe he's not answering any of his calls, if his mailbox is full. Or maybe you could ask him some other way, like by email or text.

Most likely he is not blocking you. If your number was on his block list, your call would go directly to voice mail without ringing.
Most likely he is just screening his calls based on the caller ID info and choosing not to answer the phone.
