subscribtions to play music

My mother has an android phone nd has play music on it today she could not listen to any music as she has to subscribe to it where i have had this app for few years and hasnt once asked me to subscribe someone help?

Does she have any music loaded in the app? If she doesn't, that's why it's asking for a subscription. She probably had a promo for a few months of free streaming of content she doesn't own, now it's wanting her to pay.
