We are having a real issue trying to connect my wife's Samsung 5 galaxy to our car infotainment system. We own a Suzuki vitara and it supports both Apple CarPlay and Mirror Link. My iPhone works fine, connect USB and CarPlay pops up and works away. My wife's galaxy is a different scenario. It's updated to the latest software yet when we connect the cable the phone says mirror link connected, we tap the screen in car to launch and all that we see is a black screen on both phone and car screen. We installed android auto on her phone but it makes no difference. We looked under settings in her phone at mirror link and it showed no certified applications. Surely android auto should've been listed here? I've read online about a car mode but I cannot find this mode to even enable it anywhere on the phone. I searched to see if this app needed to be downloaded on both galaxy store and play store but cannot find it. Any ideas what we are doing wrong?
