NFC Tasks / NFC Tools Pro

so i bought NFC TOOLS PRO, installed, run up NFC TASKS etc...all very run of the mill.

i have run afoul of the droid 7.1.x HOTSPOT load issue where ggl have done something funky with the private API call.

i realise its not an issue with the NFC TASKS app but...the pickle remains...i need the app to actually start the hotspot correctly.

what i see at my end is NO IP FORWARDING and no DHCP

reading up out there in webLand i see there's a few known workarounds which have been implemented as a module for tasker...which i'm not running.

noting the app, and hoping for WAKDEV, has anyone figured a workaround for this pickle?
