I cant update my apps on the playstore

[AC Question]

Evrytime I try to update an app it tells me that authentication is required and I need to sign into my Google account and when I check, I'm already signed in please help

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Are you using the Play Store app or the website?

If you're using the app, try going to Settings>Apps, select Google Play Store, tap Storage, then Clear Cache/Clear Data, and Force Stop. Now open it again and see if it works now.
