My samsung galaxy core 2 just can't use google play store?

First when i first opened the phone after i factory reset it it have no wifi so i downloaded the latest google play store i am still trying other versions maybe itl'll work. I tried all the advices clear cache clear data clear prefences. Is it just ****ty and all i don't know.. plase help .. thanks

Welcome to Android Central! First, why did you do a factory reset? Was it malfunctioning before?

Seconds, what do you mean by having no wi-fi? Are you saying you don't have a wi-fi network available to you, or that the phone's wi-fi won't turn on?

Why did you have to download the latest Google Play Store? Are you talking about the Play Store apk file? The Play Store should update by itself, when there's an update available.
