Welcome to Android Central! Sorry, but there's not much we can do to help. If the phone isn't recognizing your PIN, you can see if it prompts you for your Google ID and password if you fail the unlock enough times. Otherwise, you may just have to do a factory reset -- but when the phone restarts again, it will still ask you for your Google ID and password, as part of the Factory Reset Protection feature.
Some people may suggest using Android Device Manager to remotely reset your password, but this generally doesn't work if the phone already has a password set. It's only for phones that didn't have a screen lock set.
