after 2 rings my incoming calls are going to voice mail , why ?

I have checked settings ,what could be "off" ?

The settings at the voicemail server itself - if it's set to less than 15 seconds (figuring 5 seconds per ring, which is about normal), it goes to voicemail after 2 rings.

Call your voicemail and change it to (5 * <the number of rings you want>) + 2. (The ring you hear and the ringback the caller hears aren't perfectly synchronized.) If you can't figure out how to do it, call your carrier. (It's their voicemail system, so they'll know how to set the time.)
