Having trouble pairing my samsung

My car radio will not recognize my samsung S5 when i try to pair it always says failed as the radio will not recognize it. The car is a 2010 Toyota Yaris

You have to pair from both devices as you probably know. Typically, the car set up asks you for a pin number, then you turn your device Bluetooth on and when it finds your car, it will ask if you want to pair and you have to confirm your pin number in the device... Are you getting that far Cherry?
