I recently got a Samsung Galaxy J7 for Virgin Mobile (yes it's a J7 not a S7) which has the equivalent of Swype for typing but I don't think it's called Swype. Anyway on my old phone when I wanted a word to be in caps I would swipe up on the screen and back down again and whatever word I was typing would be in caps. This is not the case with the J7. If I hit the 'Shift' (up arrow) key then swipe my word it won't be in caps. I have to hit 'Shift' then manually type out the word. Am I doing something wrong or is this just how it works on this phone?

If you tap the ⬆️ button once, the first letter will be capital. If you double tap it, everything will be until you tap it again...

Like I explained in my original post, that doesn't work.
