My Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime froze

[AC Question]

My Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime froze today in the morning while I was typing a message to a friend in a FB Messanger. I can't take off the battery because it is not removable. All button combinations are not working so I cannot turn it off. Any ideas? The phone is new - bought it a couple of weeks back.

Have you tried pressing and holding Power to force a shutdown, or Power and Volume Down?

The same thing just happend to my Samsung J5 Prime. If you do find something that works please tell me.

I just fixed mine by holding the power and both volume buttons down for over seven seconds

Thanks alot! I was listening to the music on my phone and it just went off for 2 days and then just a few moments ago i searched on google and found this and tried it out - pressing the power button together with the volume down key and it worked!! thanks once again!!

Yes It worked for me
Use power key and volume down key together.
It eill reset the phone.
