AC Question
I'd like to buy additional cables for my Pixel but I'm really confused about the mish-mash of specifications. As best as I can determine from the documentation, the Pixel's main charging cable follows these specifications:
USB C to USB C (that part is easy to understand); and
USB 2.0 (meaning 5V and 2.4A for charging and 480 Mbps for data)
Replacement cables with these specifications are reasonably priced and easy to find.
I also see expensive replacement cables that meet the USB 3.1 specification, with up to 100 watts of charging power and up to 10Gbps, which seems like overkill. Is there a reason why I would want such a cable for my Pixel?
