What i understood from this guide is that we should keep the battery around 30-40%. What i need to know is whether it s safe or not to fully charge the battery(100%) ?

Some say yes, but others say that routinely charging to 100% shortens the overall lifespan of the battery, or that it reduces its capacity a little every time you do it.

I'm not seeing anywhere in that post that says to keep it at a charge of 30-40%. If you're going to store the battery outside the phone for an extended period of time that is correct (40-80% is optimal there) but charging to 100% should be fine.

In all honesty, how long do you plan on keeping the device and using it? These suggestions help to keep the battery functioning optimally for 2+ years, many people are replacing their devices after 2 years.
