Deleting the LINE app - will I lose pics folder in Gallery app?

I want to delete the chat app, LINE, from my Samsung Galaxy s4 mini. The app allows you to back up chats by sending them as a text file to your email address - so far, so good. Now, the Gallery app on my Android has a folder called LINE, containing all photos sent or received through line, (just as it was a Whatsapp folder containing all photos sent and recieved through Whatsapp).

My question is, if I delete LINE, will the LINE photos folder (the one in the Gallery app) also disappear? At the moment all I need to access this folder is the Gallery app, but I'm worried that deleting the source app will make this folder within the Gallery app disappear.

Does anybody know if this folder will be deleted with the deletion of the LINE app or not? Is it stored in the Gallery app or in LINE?

Welcome to Android Central! I can't tell you for sure, but to be safe, why not back up those photos now, either to your computer or to the cloud?
