HTC inspire doesnt pattern or my email and password login

I hadn't used my HTC Inspire in years as it as misplaced and found. I tried to do my pattern and it's not recognizing it. I've tried to the point where I got too many attempts it allowed me to use my Gmail login. Well, It's not recognizing that either. I just checked the login on Firefox and it works perfectly. Is there someway from my home computer I can get the HTC to recognize the login and let me in? I really don't want to do a factory reset.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you sure you synced that particular Google account with that phone? Could it have been an older account you used?

Unfortunately, I don't think there's an alternate way to get in. Android Device Manager can help set a password remotely, but only if the phone didn't already have a screen lock set up. And HTC doesn't have something like Samsung's Find My Mobile, which allows users to change the password remotely (at least in certain cases).
