Hoping someone can help me out with this one. I'm new to rooting devices etc., never had to do it until now.
I've an old Samsung Galaxy Note 2 GT-N7100 running 4.4.2 which is locked to the Vodafone Ireland network. I've tried contacting Vodafone a number of times to get NAC codes to unlock it as I'm out of contract now. I'd no problems getting them to send the NAC codes none of them worked
I managed to root the device but have not been able to carrier unlock (sim unlock), so I can give it to my father to use on the 3 network
I've read that it may be possible to flash a modem file to the device but am not sure which file to use. Any instructions would be greatly appreciated.
