Samsung Galaxy A5 Refuses to show the % wjen charging.

Cleared cache,put in safe mode ,changed charging port but it refuses to charge.it shows 1% all the way after many hours of charging

Welcome to Android Central! But is the battery actually charging up? That is, if you keep it plugged in overnight, then use it normally afterwards, does the battery last like it was charged up to 100%, even if it still says only 1%?

Dear any reply that i am purchase A 5 2017 very nice hand set but yesterday i am charging in my phone but i sleep in 11 pm i put up my sleep at 7 am but mobile in pluged please reply any one my phone A5 samsung on what is effect??

Are you asking whether it is harmful to the phone to leave it charging overnight? To the best of my knowledge, it isn't, though of course there is a small fire risk, as with the use of any electrical equipment.
