Hi there. I know this is old but I'm still having real trouble on this.
I've tried downloading updated drivers to replace the original ones but the stats for the drivers always show the old install date.

I currently have to use the Nexus in MTP mode which has allowed me to create new folders and therefore add things, but I cannot view the old files and architecture inside the DCIM folder like I could before the last android update.

    So far I have:
Cleared out existing drivers in my device manager folder for the Nexus7.
Downloaded and unzipped new driver from android site.
    Supposedly installed new driver.
However, install date is the same, the driver version is somthing like 10.1

CAN ANYBODY HELP. I WANT MY OLD NEXUS BACK

    Cheers.

Welcome to Android Central! Does the DCIM folder show up at all? Do new files saved to the DCIM folder appear, but old ones remain hidden?
