Gifs on Message+

A

AC Question

This is probably a silly question, but can someone out there please help me figure out how to send gifs in Message+ on a Galaxy S7? Several people have told me that it's one of the options on the keyboard when I click on the emoji keyboard, but I don't see it. I don't want to have to download gifs then attach them like pictures, is there a way to get them directly through the app? Thanks in advance!

Where are the GIF files located?

If they are on your phone, then you will attach the GIF like you attach JPG files.

If they are on the internet, you will reference the GIFs by their URL. The catch here is that maybe your messaging app displays the GIF inline, maybe it does not. Ditto for the receiver's messaging app.
