Photos now have borders similar to iphone

[AC Question]

I received an update from att for my S7 edge yesterday. Now, when i take a photo side way(landscape) and view it in gallery, the photo no longer takes up the whole screen. there is a black border on the left and right side.
anyone else with the same issue?
how do you fix?

Check in your camera app to see if the size may have been reduced by the update.
