Why doesn't my photos auto backup to photos.google.com anymore?

After the Android 7.0 update, my Galaxy s7 edge doesn't automatically backup photos anymore.
In the Google Photos app I choose auto-backup and it worked flawlessly before. Setup to only work on Wifi.

Now it stoppet backing up any photos.
Is this a known bug? Turning off and on the auto backup doesn't work.

Welcome to the forums. Have you tried a cache clear for the Photos app?

Is your S7 Edge still getting stable WiFi connectivity after the system upgrade? I'd confirm you're still getting a solid connection to your WiFi network -- temporarily disable Mobile data and use a browser or any app that needs a online access, or check in your phone's Settings >> Wi-Fi.

When I turned off mobile data and headed into Google Photos app, I saw it was backing up the videos and pictures.

Not sure if it is the fact that I turned mobile signal off, or that I opened the app. Will test it a little, thanks for your suggestions
