Blocked message notification

[AC Question]

Hi, when I text a certain friend, the first one goes thru, I receive her reply, but that's where it stops. When she tries to reply to a second text in the same thread, I receive "Free Msg: unable to send - message blocking is active" even tho I am clearly not blocked, one because she is receiving the first msg, and two, cause she didn't block me. Help!THis just started - we are both Metro PCS customers...just fyi

The same happens to me. I have to restart my phone to send another text message to one specific person. Also I noticed the messages type was "CHAT" Not SMS message. Someone please help this is so frustrating.

I am having the same exact problem when I text my boyfriend... Some will go through but most will say Free Msg: Unable to send message - Message Blocking is active. And I am not blocked

I recently updated the system as well. I believe it has something to do with the update.

Ok update! I updated every app in my phone and it fixed it. I also went to a metro store and they said they have had numerous complaints about this. Every scenario was a shared account. Idk if this helps anyone but it fixed it for me. Good luck this was frustrating me for days.

How do I fix this I can't send or receive text messages, when I try to send a text it says message blocking is active, I need it deactivated
