How do I restore my phone

Auto updated and I HATE everything about it. It's ugly, navigating simple things such as turning data on and off is less user friendly and everything I had set up for my easy use is just moot. Can't stand the colors and finding things I use all the time just got stupid. Change should ve optional. I paid enough for this damned thing and the bills that go with it, I should have a yes or no option before big changes are thrust on me. I do not like this format at all. Pretty unhappy. I want to know how to restore my previous settings before the update and turn off auto updates.

I'm going to take a WAG that it's a Samsung S7 or S7 Edge. The OP is joining an ever-growing club of folks unhappy with the changes Samsung chose to make with the Nougat release on that device.
