    I could see no way to Reply to the answer, thus the new post.
    Yes, I have my contacts at Gmail contacts as well as the Verizon cloud contact manager.

    This will be our first smart phone but we do have Samsung tables which I guess pretty much function like a Samsung phone.

    BTW - why am I not seeing a "Reply" button?

    @WV-Mike I see you found the process to join the site so you can reply to your threads.

    If you sync your contacts to your Google account they will be available on ANY device connected to your Google account. If you sync to a Samsung account (possibly the default on Samsung devices to drive you to their services) you'll need another Samsung device to access the contacts from the Samsung cloud.
