why is my lg k210 not able to access 3g network

Am from Nigeria nd i bought my lg k210 last week.. nd am using airtel network.. anytime i put it on 3g, d network goes off.. i av called my service provider several times and they av told me there is nothing wrong.. i av tried other sim cards but the same thing continues to occur i av also checked the apn and its correct pls i really need solutions cos its rili annoying and frustrating.. Thanks

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Cellular Networks>Preferred Network Type​. What is selected there?

its showing gsm only, gsm/wcdma, wcdma only, gsm/wcdma/lte... but wen i put it on wcdma only, the network goes off.. it works only on gsm... phone type is lg k210

What was it set to originally? GSM/WCDMA?
