Keep getting " Please Download Launch Manager App to use this function" on S3!

[AC Question]

Downloaded a few free watch faces through Gear App on my phone. Now I keep getting the above message. I checked out the "Launch Manger" which a paid app and it suppose to organize the apps on the Gear S3.

I suspect the free watch faces require Launch Manager app. But why?
