My son has a Nexus 6. We have a Verizon family plan but he is not on it (he's only 13 and not getting regular service until he's 16).

He will be taking a short trip soon and I;d like him to have service during that period. It's just 1 week so what's the best way to do this?

If I want him to be on VZ what should I look for? Or should I consider something else?

I would think any of the no-contract MVNO's such as StraightTalk, Project Fi, Cricket, Mint, etc would be a good option. You can buy the service, pay for what's used and cancel it after a month.

You don't normally 'cancel' an MVNO account, you just don't renew it after the first month.
