"i" on text message symbol

I get this new icon next to texts I send...mostly mms messages I send. The icon appears at the bottom right of my text....first I get the text symbol with a clock while its sending, ok...then it turns into a text symbol with a little "i" in a circle on the top right corner of the text symbol. What does it mean? Thanks

Welcome to the forums. What phone do you have and which messaging app are you using? Have you confirmed if the message has been received? It could be a notification telling you that there was a problem while sending it. What happens if you tap on that icon? Do you get any additional information?

Sounds like the status report for the text. I get something similar and I'm on MetroPCS (T-Mobile).

I am getting a little 1 on texts on a J5 Prime. How can I get them to stop?

I don't know what to do. All messages have the 1 by them. They are going through because I'm getting responses.
